The KHE Mac2+ tyre is undoubtedly one of the best BMX Park tyres available. The combination of a responsive micro tread design and light weight Kevlar bead make this the first choice of tyre for many of the world’s top professional ramp and park riders.
The reduced weight of the tyres has a significant positive impact when performing spinning tricks such as 360’s, 720’s etc. The reduced ‘rotational weight’ makes those tricks feel much easier and is a reason why BMX riders keep coming back to the KHE Mac2+ tyre.
Traditional BMX tyres use a wire bead inside the tyre to help keep it fitted firmly to the rim. However the KHE Mac2+ tyre uses a Kevlar bead which is much lighter than the metal wire bead but still keeps it held tightly in place on the rim. The Mac2+ BMX tire also features a higher TPI (Threads Per Inch) construction, to achieve this the threads are thinner which further reduces the weight while also allowing the tyre to be pumped up to a higher pressure.
